FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -
Two people were indicted on capital murder charges for killing a Lauderdale County man.
A grand jury indicted Jonathan Junior Minton and Jessica Nunley.
Both are accused of stabbing wheelchair bound 50-year-old David Pennington 70 times inside his home on County Road 189 in May 2011.
District Attorney Chris Connolly credited the work from investigators for getting the suspects indicted.
"It's a culmination of the review of the evidence in the case that we're finally able we felt had enough to present to the grand jury and the grand jury indicted," he said.
Officials say more arrests are pending in this murder case.
Minton and Nunley are being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center.
