Lions earn All-Region Honors - WAFF-TV: News, Weather and Sports for Huntsville, AL

LIONS PLACE TWO ON ALL-REGION BASEBALL TEAM

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- University of North Alabama pitcher Chad Boughner and second baseman Michael Schmidt were among 30 players named to the 2012 Daktronics  NCAA Division II All-South Region baseball  teams.

Boughner, a junior from Florence, Ala., was named to the first-team All-South Region squad, while Schmidt , a senior from Powder Springs, Ga., was a second-team all-region pick.  Both were previously selected first-team All-Gulf South Conference.
