HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Teamwork can be a good thing. After all, it includes planning, working toward a common goal, and helping one another achieve those goals.
But it can be turned into a very bad thing by crooks.
The crime happened at the Walmart Supercenter on Sutton Road on December 13.
Two women tried to check out with two shopping carts full of $13,000 worth of items.
When one of the women tried to pay with her credit card, it was declined, so the two were sent back to Customer Service Department to clear things up.
However, store surveillance shows one of the women tries to distract the clerk then uses her body to block the clerk's view of her partner in crime who takes one of the carts and heads toward the exit.
The two left the store separately but met at their vehicle. That vehicle is a white Kia Sorenta with Alabama license tag #47A42T9.
