FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -
An elderly man was killed by a passing truck in Lauderdale County Tuesday morning.
The vehicle struck him on Alabama 157. Troopers said that Ozie Tucker, 91 was killed at around 3:40 a.m.
His body was found in the roadway and pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver was Ronald Liles of Florence. He was uninjured.
Authorities said Tucker was wearing dark clothing and it was foggy which could have lead to the accident.
The case is under investigation.
