April 27, 2012: Jo Ann Bain was last seen leaving her Whiteville home with her three daughters, 14 year-old Adrienne Bain, 12 year-old Alexandria Bain and 8 year-old Kyliyah Bain. We now know this Is the day Jo Ann and Adrienne were killed.

April 30, 2012: The family's S-U-V was found in Hardeman County, Tennessee, not far from the family home.  The same day, surveillance cameras captured suspect Adam Mayes with a new haircut at a market in Guntown, Mississippi.

May 2, 2012: A warrant was issued for Adam Mayes. At the time, he was wanted for lying to investigators.

May 4, 2012: A Tennessee Endangered child alert was issued for the three children.

May 5, 2012: An Amber Alert was issued for the girls.  The same day we also learned two bodies were found in shallow graves behind Mayes Alpine, Mississippi home.

May 7, 2012: Investigators began digging for new clues in backyard of Mayes' Alpine, Mississippi home.  That night, the bodies found in that backyard were identified as Joann and Adrienne Bain.

May 8, 2012: Adam Mayes wife, Teresa and mother Mary, were charged with crimes connected to the kidnapping.

May 9, 2012: Adam Mayes and his wife were charged with murder.  The same day Adam Mayes is added to the F-B-I's ten most wanted list.

May 10, 2012: Two Mississippi Wildlife Resource Officers discovered Adam Mayes with the two girls in the woods near Alpine, MS. Mayes shot himself in the head. The two girls were unharmed.
