SPRINGFIELD, TN (WSMV) -
Springfield police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred early Sunday morning.
Police said someone shot Rashaud J. Singletary, 20, in the head after a fight on Patterson Boulevard.
Singletary was transported to NorthCrest Medical Center by ambulance, then by LifeFlight helicopter to Vanderbilt Medical Center, where he later died around 12:30 a.m.
Investigators said there were several people in the house where the shooting occurred, but no arrests have been made.
