FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -
The judge presiding over the Autumn Wood murder trial denied a motion to move the case to juvenile court.
Wood is accused of stabbing Brooklyn Hollins during a party in Florence in March. Hollins died from her injuries.
Attorneys for 17-year-old Wood asked for the law allowing teenagers to be tried as adults unconstitutional.
Wood had a first call scheduled in Lauderdale County court Monday morning. That hearing was canceled.
Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 8th.
