FRANKLIN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
Jerry Mills was found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Mills was charged with the Franklin County shooting death of Robert Presley, a wheelchair bound man, in 2010.
The judge denied Mills' request for probation or a split sentence and gave him the max sentencing.
A notice of appeal was filed, and an appeal bond was set at $500,000.
Mills was given the max amount of jail time.
