HARTSELLE, AL (WAFF) -

Hartselle citizens for economic development will sponsor a rally in favor of a new alcohol sale law.

The sale of alcohol is currently illegal in Hartselle. The rally is intended to inform voters of the benefits of legalizing it.

The city council passed a growth plan last year to allow it. Voters will make the final decision in November.

The rally will be Saturday at Family Lanes Bowling Alley.
