HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Police are investigating a robbery in a bank parking lot early Sunday morning.
Huntsville Police, Fire, and HEMSI paramedics responded to the Regions bank at the intersection of Moore's Mill Road and Winchester Road.
The victim told police that he met the offender at a club on Saturday night. The victim said he loaned the offender some money. When they left the club, the offender told the victim to follow him to the bank so he could withdraw money to pay the victim back.
Both arrived at the Regions bank. The offender then walked up to the victim and struck him several times in the face. The offender pulled the victim out of the vehicle and stole his property and cash from his pockets. The victim also stated that the offender had a knife. The offender left the bank in a silver, older model pickup truck.
The victim was treated for a possible broken nose and taken to Huntsville Hospital for further care.
Huntsville Police, Fire, and HEMSI responded to a robbery in the parking lot of a Regions bank.
