Jury finds Kimberly McLaughlin guilty of murder

MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A jury has found Kimberly McLaughlin guilty of murdering elderly her mother.

They found her not guilty of arson.

McLaughlin was charged with stabbing her mother, 73-year-old Shirley Robuck at the victim's Madison home and then setting the crime scene on fire back in September of 2009.

A sentencing date has not been set.
