MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Law officers are searching for a woman they describe as an escapee from a women's facility in Montgomery.
Authorities said in a statement that Brandy Michelle Partin was reported missing from the Montgomery Women's Facility around 2:45 p.m. on March 31, while on an eight-hour pass.
State officials say Partin was returning from Covington County when she fled from her mother's vehicle. She's described as a white female, 5 feet tall, weighing 118 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair.
Authorities said Partin is serving a 10-year sentence for forgery, theft and fraud.
Officials said the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force is assisting with locating and apprehending Partin.
