FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -

Details of the fight that led to the death of a 14-year-old Florence girl were revealed in the criminal complaint against the 17-year-old suspect.

Autumn Marie Wood is charged with Brooklyn Hollins' murder. According to the complaint, Wood stabbed Hollins during a fight at a house party.

A teen had a group of friends over at her house in the 500 block of Winona Street on March 24th. The girl's parents weren't at home and weren't aware of the party.

During the party, Autumn Wood got into a fight with another girl. A second girl stepped in to help Wood. The victim, Brooklyn Hollins, got involved to help the first girl. The fight was broken up and the girl who hosted the party told everyone to leave her house.

Hollins and the first girl were leaving the party when Wood's friend called Hollins' friend a derogatory name. The first girl returned to the house and fought with Wood's friend in the kitchen. Hollins returned to the kitchen and got into a fight with Wood.

According to the complaint, Hollins ended up with her back on the floor. That's when witnesses said Wood straddled Hollins on her waist and began hitting her in the face.

Hollins fought back and another girl tried to get Wood off of Hollins, but Wood continued to hit the victim.

That's when, according to the complaint, Wood grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed Hollins in the chest. Hollins said, "That expletive stabbed me." Wood then said that she stabbed Hollins.

Hollins died in the kitchen.

Wood is being charged as an adult in Hollins' murder. She is out of jail on bond.
