Decatur, Ala. – The Jimmy Johns Tennis Center, located in the heart of Point Mallard Park, will be home to the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Tennis State Class 5A Tournament April 23-24, 2012. This will be the second appearance for the AHSAA state championship. The Jimmy Johns Tennis Center hosted the State Class 1A-2A-3A tournament in 2011, and will serve as host venue for the State 4A tournament April 25-26, 2012.
According to the Decatur-Morgan County Convention and Visitors Bureau, previous AHSAA tournaments have produced an economic impact of approximately $14K for Decatur and Morgan County.

Located adjacent to the Point Mallard Waterpark, the Jimmy Johns Tennis Center contains four clay and fourteen hard courts including two indoor courts.
