Missing child alert canceled after 8-month-old found safe

LINCOLN, AL (WAFF) -

Officials issued a Levi's Call for an abducted 8-month-old child from Georgia Thursday night.

The alert was canceled Friday morning after Mathew Maskill Johnson was located in Mississippi and taken to a safe location. Taylor Nicole Maskill, the child's mother, was located and taken into custody.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Mathew was taken by his non-custodial mother, Taylor Maskill, around 5 a.m. in Eastman, Georgia.

    An incarcerated Lawrence County man who walked off a work detail earlier this month has been captured in Colorado.  The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office reportedly took Austen Larry Williams, 28, into custody on Saturday.
