UNA Police search for armed robber

FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -

UNA Police say a student on campus was walking to her car when a man came up and forced her into a vehicle at gunpoint.

She was forced to drive him to an ATM by Rice/Rivers and to take money out. Police say she was then forced to drive the suspect back to the parking garage.

The suspect got away, and police are still searching for him.

He is described as a blond, white male, about 6'1", 160 pounds. He was seen in a white T-shirt and black shorts. He was armed with a semi-automatic pistol.

The suspect was last seen leaving the university parking deck.

Police do not know if he is still on campus.

If you have any information, notify University Police immediately.

The victim was not harmed.
