HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
The trial for UA-Huntsville shooter Amy Bishop-Anderson has been continued.
Judge Alan Mann granted the motion filed by Bishop-Anderson's legal team. A new trial date has not been set.
Defense attorneys said they need more time to prepare because of a delayed ruling by the Alabama Criminal Court of Appeals. That ruling denied the defense request for money for expert witnesses.
Bishop-Anderson is charged with murder and attempted murder for a 2010 shooting at the Shelby Center on the UAH Campus.
Three of the victims died.
Bishop-Anderson is being held without bail in the Metro Jail.
