HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Strong thunderstorms produced gusty winds and dime to nickel sized hail Wednesday evening. These storms will continue to track east into Georgia. Overnight tonight we will see a few spotty showers with temperatures will drop into the lower to middle 50s.
Expect a cloudy and muggy start to your Thursday with some patchy fog. As we get later into the day it will become breezy as a strong cold front tracks our way from the Ohio Valley. It will be a warm and breezy Thursday afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the lower 70s. The cold front will track across the Tennessee Valley late Thursday evening. This will trigger another round of potentially strong to severe thunderstorms between 7 p.m. and Midnight.
Stay with the WAFF 48 Storm Team on-air and online at WAFF.com for updates. If necessary, we will begin streaming coverage at WAFF.com. You can always get the latest Live StormTracker Doppler radar image online at WAFF.com.
