Clay Chalkville student suspended for rape

A 14-year-old Clay Chalkville student is charged with raping a classmate during school hours.

Police say the alleged victim is a 14-year-old girl.

Officials say claims the suspect approached her in the hallway while class was in session and forced her into the boys bathroom where she was raped.

The girl says she waited to report the rape until January because she was afraid to say anything. The girl says other students have been threatening her since she came forward.

"They're telling her to watch her back that they're going to get her. I have messages off of Facebook talking about they're going to jump on her for lying on him and no one can protect her," said Velencia Weston, accused victim's mother.@

The suspect was suspended from school.
