GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Quick reaction by Guntersville Police helped nab a duo of home burglars Thursday morning.

Much of the items were recovered, and the victim was extremely pleased to get her things back. In fact, she is a city employee herself.

The incident happened just before nine Thursday morning at a home off Pawnee Circle.

Police say a witness saw the vehicle leaving the home and called police.

The suspect's car was spotted near the causeway at Guntersville High School and then pulled over at a local fast food restaurant.

When police searched the car, they found electronic equipment and jewelry that the victim identified as hers.

21-year-old Aaron Marquis Banks was taken into custody, along with 21-year-old Samuel Earl Jamison, both of Guntersville.

Police say it's always good to have people watching out for others.

The two have been charged with receiving stolen property.

Police believe this may be the break they were looking for in solving other home burglaries as well.

Guntersville Police said there have been several home burglaries in the last four months, and now they're zeroing in on one of the two suspects.

Police say they're now interviewing both men to see what they know about other home burglaries in recent months.
