RED BAY, AL (WAFF) -

A Red Bay man is locked up and charged with murder.

Police say he turned himself in after a grand jury indicted him.

It happened near the gunman's home. In fact, police say the shooting started in the middle of the road and then moved into Hershel Graham's back yard, and that's when investigators say things escalated and Graham shot the victim.

The district attorney sent the case to a Franklin County grand jury. They decided there is enough evidence for this case to go to trial.

Officials say 50-year-old Hershel Graham turned himself in Wednesday. He's accused of shooting David Andrasik in the chest on November 3rd.

The victim later died at the hospital.

If convicted, Graham could face anywhere from 10 years to life in prison.

He's being held at the Franklin County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
