HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - A key component of space future will be on display in the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville.
The component is called the Orion spacecraft.
The Orion is a test module used for ground testing on its way to the cape.
It looks a lot like the Apollo Capsule, but Orion is 30 percent bigger and more technologically advanced when it comes to life support, safety, communication and avionics.
The Orion capsule will be on display in front of the space and rocket center until Sunday.
Space astronauts will be there Thursday for pictures and lecture starting at 6 p.m. For more information on events click here.
