Florence High School has hired Jamey Dubose as the new head football coach.
The announcement was made Friday morning, hours after Dubose resigned from Prattville High School.
Dubose said he told his team about the decision early Friday morning before they learned about it somewhere else.
Dubose won four state titles in his eight years at Prattville, two as assistant coach and two as head coach.
