FAYETTEVILLE, TN (WAFF) -
Four teens were arrested for stealing a truck in Huntsville and leading police in Tennessee on a high speed chase.
Fayetteville City and the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department say the teens stole a Ford 150 truck in Huntsville and drove it to Lincoln County on Wednesday.
Police then chased them along the bypass and onto highway 231/431. The teens tried to pass a car that was turning, the truck then sideswiped that car and ended up hitting a parked car in a shopping center. No one was in the car at the time.
Sheriff's Deputies said the teens took off on foot but were caught a short time later.
All four teens were arrested and taken into custody. Their names have not been released.
The driver of the car that was sideswiped was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Tennessee Highway Patrol has been brought in to investigate the accident.
