Update: Police locate missing man with dementia

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Police have located a missing Hillsboro man with a medical condition.

Officials say 72-year-old Joseph Swoope Jr. walked away from the Brookshire Health Center in Huntsville Tuesday.

Swoope was receiving medical treatment at 10:30 a.m. He is diagnosed with dementia. He was located around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Governor's Drive and Whitesburg Drive. He was safely returned to the facility.

    An incarcerated Lawrence County man who walked off a work detail earlier this month has been captured in Colorado.  The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office reportedly took Austen Larry Williams, 28, into custody on Saturday.
