Madison County, AL -
Businessman and civic leader Todd Slyman has qualified in the Republican Primary for the Madison County Commission Race in District 4.
The office is currently held by outgoing County Commissioner Dale Strong. Slyman is a small business owner and co-founder of The Village of Providence.
Slyman said he is running for the county commission because he believes he can make a positive difference in Madison County. He said he is committed to working hard to insure the values and needs of the community of Madison County.
"As County Commissioner I will work closely with my fellow commissioners, our elected officials in Washington and Montgomery to secure funding for desperately needed improvements to the main roads throughout our district, improve our schools and build new parks and recreational facilities. I will also use my economic development and leadership experience to promote the tremendous advantages we have to offer to both large and small businesses that will result in new jobs and a much brighter economic future for our families." said Slyman.
Slyman serves on the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and was the State and Local Governmental Affairs Committee Chair.
