GURLEY, AL (WAFF) -
Thursday we could learn if a Madison County community will be forced into bankruptcy.
A judge is expected to rule on an appeal filed by a Madison County town of Gurley.
Town leaders want a judge to overturn a $5 million judgment against the town for M&N Materials.
The company sued Gurley over a rock quarry in 2003.
The town could file for bankruptcy if the judgment isn't overturned.
The judge is expected to make a decision by noon Thursday.
