Havoc's Fox named SBX Player of The Week

The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced Justin Fox of the Huntsville Havoc is the SBK Player of the Week for December 19-25.

In Huntsville's only game last week, Fox tallied a natural hat trick in leading the Havoc to a 5-3 win over the Mississippi Surge on Friday, ending a five-game losing streak.  Trailing 3-2, the Whitby, Ontario native scored his first goal just 1:44 into the second period to tie the game.  Fox then gave Huntsville the lead for good, scoring the game-winning goal with less than nine minutes remaining in the third period before adding an empty-net goal to complete the hat trick.

Fox spent the last two years playing for the State University of New York (SUNY) - Oswego, where he averaged nearly a point-and-a-half per game.  Prior to that, Fox spent two years at Salem State College where he led the team in scoring both seasons, recording 74 points in only 49 games.
