TRIANA, AL (WAFF) -
Police have arrested one person for a shooting in Triana and are searching for two more.
Officials charged 40-year-old Gary C. Grays with one count of attempted murder. He was booked in the Metro jail on a $60,000 bond.
Triana, Madison Police and Madison County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene at 225 Zierdt Road Monday night. Investigators said Demetrius Cosby was shot in the chest.
Madison County Sheriff's Office has taken over the investigation. Investigators believe the shooting was sparked by a confrontation prior to the incident.
Cosby was taken to Huntsville Hospital by MedFlight. Officials said he is expected to be okay.
Madison County Sheriff's Investigators are still searching for 25-year-old Brandon O'Neal Grays and 40-year-old Mashan Roman Vaughn.
Madison Police are assisting in the investigation. Brandon Grays and Vaughn are believed to still be in the Huntsville area.
