Natalie Marsh has been named a Daktronics second team All-South

FLORENCE – North Alabama middle hitter Natalie Marsh has been named a Daktronics second team All-South Region selection. The senior from Cincinnati, Ohio was selected after helping lead the Lions to a 24-10 season that ended in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

 

Marsh, who also received first team All-Gulf South Conference and NCAA South Region all-tournament honors, finished the season with a GSC-leading 3.94 kills per set. She had a .277 hitting percentage and was a three-time GSC Offensive Player of the Week. Other season honors include being named the MVP of the Missouri-St. Louis Tritons Volleyball Classic and a GSC all-tournament selection.

 

For the year, Marsh totaled 515 kills and 338 digs for a 2.58 digs-per-set average. She added 112 total blocks (0.85 per set), 23 assists and 39 service aces. She reached double figures in kills 32 times, including six matches with at least 20 kills. She also had 19 double-doubles.

 

Daktronics honors are nominated and voted on by sports information directors in each region.
