GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Saturday night one Alabama fan will be dressed in white instead of crimson. That's because a Huntsville bride-to-be is getting married on game day.
Kara Brooks and her fiancé, Michael, didn't expect their big day to coincide with the Alabama-LSU game. Their wedding will take place in Guntersville.
Brooks says she'll have a television at the bar during the reception and another TV in the ballroom.
"I want them to watch the game. You know, it's not going to be during the ceremony. It's going to be during the reception so maybe it will just help our reception liven up a bit if we're winning, and I hope we are," said Brooks.
The wedding's pastor just happens to be an LSU fan.
The bride said not a single bit of red will be seen, her theme colors are black, white and green.
