Police are investigating a shooting between two brothers in north Huntsville. Officers responded to the shooting on Ayers Drive near Judd Avenue around 2 p.m.
Police said 64-year-old Bobby Pamplin and 53-year-old Willie Watkins Jr. were arguing when Pamplin got a rifle and shot Watkins several times. Both brothers lived in the same residence.
Investigators said Watkins was already dead by the time paramedics arrived at the house.
Authorities are investigating what caused the argument between the brothers and the shooting that followed.
Pamplin was taken into custody and charged with murder on Sunday. He is being held in the Huntsville-Madison County Jail without bond at this time.
