Huntsville Police arrested a man for enticing a child Monday.

Police say 39-year-old Quincy Lamar Erskine knocked on the door of an apartment on Clopton Street and asked the 13-year-old living there to have sex with him.

The victim knew the offender and shut the door in his face.

Police picked him up a short time later and charged him with enticing a child for immoral purposes.
