AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 24 Auburn Tigers took the outdoor practice fields once again on Sunday night for a light practice session.
The Tigers (4-2, 2-1 SEC) practiced in helmets and shorts for 40 minutes in cool, drizzly conditions as they began preparations for this Saturday's meeting with the Florida Gators (4-2, 2-2 SEC).
Trying to move past the loss to Arkansas, the Auburn coaching staff stressed mistake correction with the young team.
"It was good to get on the practice field tonight," defensive coordinator Ted Roof said. "We got a good start cleaning up a lot of the things that happened to us yesterday –just reviewing it and going over it.
"You do something you do every week, things you can hang your hat on, to make sure we are squared with that and a lot of corrections from yesterday and some things this week that we are going to carry going forward."
With Monday as the regular off day, Auburn will be back on the field on Tuesday evening to continue preparing for Florida.
Auburn and Florida will kickoff at 6 p.m. in Jordan-Hare Stadium, a game that will be televised nationally by ESPN.
