Ala. casino lobbyist Massey to be released from prison

MONTGOMERY, AL (WAFF) - A key man in Alabama's gambling corruption investigation will go free from prison.

Wednesday morning, a federal judge agreed to release lobbyist Jarrod Massey.

He pleaded guilty and asked to begin serving prison time before he was sentenced.

Massey asked the judge to go free to attend to some personal issues.

The judge agreed to release Massey until his sentencing date next April.
