Krystal to reopen after double murder

Posted: Updated:
DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

Less than a week after a double murder there, Krystal in Decatur is set to re-open.

Krystal management said they'll start serving food and drinks at the restaurant on 6th Avenue again on Tuesday morning.

The company plans on holding a press conference with the mayor, chamber of commerce, and police at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

They also said they're setting up a fund for the victims.

Last Wednesday, authorities discovered 50-year-old Jeff Graff and 23 year-old Jesse Jose Aguilar fatally shot inside the restaurant.

Decatur Police said Jordan Creque, Cassandra Eldred, and Ezekiel Gholston killed the two employees and took money from the business.

Both Creque and Eldred were also employed at Krystal. All three face capital murder charges.

WAFF plans to carry the press conference live Tuesday at 10 a.m. on WAFF.com.
