Tavares Fletcher was sentenced to life with no parole for the attempted murder and robbery of a Huntsville gymnastics teacher.
Fletcher shot Meg Hall in the parking lot of a gymnastics complex January 2009. Hall was leaving the Huntsville Gymnastics Complex on Leeman Ferry road when Fletcher and another man tried to rob her.
Hall survived the attack. She gave emotional testimony during Fletcher's trial.
