MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A drug bust in Morgan County turned up nearly a dozen active meth labs in a home where two young children lived.

Morgan County Sheriff's Deputies were called to the home on Amherst Drive in Lacy's Springs while Madison County Investigators were looking for stolen property.

Investigators found eleven active labs inside the home.

Police also found a one-year-old and a four-year-old child in the home.

Deputies arrested Byron NeSmith and Amber Nicole McBride.

Both NeSmith and McBride are charged with chemical endangerment of a child.

NeSmith also faces manufacturing charges.

His arrest comes just a day after his brother's arrest on meth manufacturing charges.

Both subjects are being held at the Morgan County Jail.
