HACKLEBURG, AL (WAFF) -

VF Corporation officials announced they will be rebuilding the Wrangler plant in Hackleburg.

The facility was destroyed by an EF-5 tornado on April 27th.

The company had originally planned to announce a decision on the future of the plant by July 13th however the review process was not completed.

VF Corporation provided work for those workers at other company-owned facilities in Hackleburg and Holly Pond.

The plant could add as many as fifty additional jobs bringing the total number of employees to 200.

Organizers say construction should be completed by 2013.
