A Madison County man was arrested for abusing a child under the age of 12.

Noraddin Muhammmed Alzoqari, 38, of Harvest was charged with 104 counts of sexual abuse, sodomy, sexual abuse of a child less than 12-years-old and enticing a child by both Madison County Sheriff's Office and the Huntsville Police Department.

HPD spokesman Harry Hobbs said Alzoqari was arrested on July 22nd because of the evidence discovered in a joint investigation by the Madison County Sheriff's Office and Huntsville Police Department. Hobbs said the sheriff's office began the investigation and requested HPD's assistance.

Investigators said the victim is a 12-year-old girl. The victim told family members about the abuse and they contacted authorities.

Alzoqari allegedly abused the victim over the last two years. He was charged with 55 counts of first degree sexual abuse, 44 counts of sex with a child under 12, three counts of first degree sodomy and two counts of enticing a child for immoral purposes.

His bond was previously set at $2.4 million, but he is no longer eligible for bond because of the nature of his offenses.

According to court documents, he also goes by the name Tony Alzoqari. Neighbors said he owns several gas stations in Madison County.
