About 20 employees were evacuated after a chemical leak at an Albertville plant.
Four fire rescue trucks and two ambulances responded to the Americold Logistics plant on Railroad Avenue and George Wallace Drive around 10:30 Thursday morning. Officials said that an ammonia line ruptured and HAZMAT crews went into the building, shut off the supply line, and then ventilated the area.
Employees were allowed to return to work a little before noon.
