HACKLEBURG, AL (WAFF) -

Rebuilding a Wrangler plant in tornado-ravaged Hackleburg remains an option for VF Corporation but a final decision won't be made until the end of the month.

The company had originally planned to announce a decision on the future of the plant by July 13th however the review process was not completed.

"Our process for reviewing such decisions is thorough and requires more time to complete," said Eric Wiseman, Chairman and Chief Executive of VF. "We have explored many different scenarios and rebuilding in Hackleburg remains an option." About 150 workers were displaced when a tornado hit Hackleburg and destroyed the jeans wear distribution center.

VF Corporation provided work for those workers at other company-owned facilities in Hackleburg and Holly Pond.
