Campaign replaces trees destroyed by April's tornadoes

MONTGOMERY, AL (WAFF) - The Alabama Forestry Commission and the Arbor Day Foundation are joining forces to plant thousands of trees across the state to replace the trees and forests destroyed by April's tornadoes.

It's called the Alabama Tree Recovery Campaign and anyone can help by donating. For every dollar donated, the Arbor Day Foundation will deliver a tree to an Alabamian impacted by the tornadoes.

If you want to donate, visit their website.
