TOWN CREEK, AL (WAFF) -

A young Moulton mother was arrested in Town Creek on charges of willful torture and child abuse.

Town Creek Police arrested 22-year-old Ashley Liles. She is accused of tying her four-year-old son's hands, feet and mouth with duct tape. His eyes were said to be covered with a bandana.

The young mother allegedly asked other people at another apartment for duct tape, which she was provided.

The incident is alleged to have occurred after the little boy threw a temper tantrum in March while they were visiting someone at an apartment in Town Creek.

Liles was arrested and bonded out from the Lawrence County Jail June 17th on a $15,000 bond.
