PHIL CAMPBELL, AL (WAFF) -
The Phil Campbell's of the world will unit in the Phil Campbell, Alabama, this weekend to help the town recover from the April 27th tornadoes.
It's part of the "I'm with Phil" campaign. Every year, Phil Campbell's around the world flock to the town for a weekend, but this year is a little different. The Phil Campbells will volunteer there time and skills to Habitat for Humanity and build a house for a family who lost their's in the tornado that devastated the town in April.
The gathering will even include the premier of "Grassroots", a moving staring Jason Biggs who's character is named "Phil Campbell". The movie is based on a book written by a Phil Campbell.
The screening starts Thursday at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at the Phil Campbell Northwest Shoals Community College campus.
Tickets are $5, and for $20 you can asked the director Stephen Gyllenhall a question via skype.
All the money raised will go to help a Phil Campbell families who were affected by the storms.
