HARVEST, AL (WAFF) -
Members of the Harvest Youth Club paying it forward to people in need.
Thousands of donations began pouring in to help storm victims after Lockhart Road in Harvest was wiped out by April 27th's tornadoes.
Everything from clothes, diapers and paper products has been stored in a trailer on the club's property. The youth club is now donating those items to Christmas Charities Year Round and to relief efforts in Joplin, Missouri.
"We had a truck leave on Friday carrying supplies donated to us. They are in Joplin right now. After much prayer, we selected Christmas Charities to receive the balance of them," said Harvest Youth Club Director Melvin Allen.
