The Beach Boys and John Stamos toured storm damage in Madison County Friday.

The Beach Boys are performing at the Von Braun Center for a Huntsville Hospital Foundation fundraiser Friday night.

Actor John Stamos, best known for his starring role as Uncle Jesse on Full House, is joining them at the Huntsville Classic Dinner.

According to the foundation's website, Stamos occasionally plays the drums for The Beach Boys and because of the April 27th tornado outbreak, contacted the band to request to play at the Classic Dinner to support Huntsville Hospital Foundation's annual fundraising event.

"I was so struck by the devastation from the recent tornadoes in Alabama. I knew the Beach Boys had scheduled concerts in the area. So I called Mike Love and asked if I could come down and help the band do what they do best which is lift spirits and spread good vibrations," said Stamos.

Tickets are $25 and are still available. Visit http://foundation.hhsys.org/huntsvilleclassic/ to get yours.

David: Showers and storms ongoing across the Valley

    Saturday, March 25 2017 5:50 PM EDT2017-03-25 21:50:37 GMT

Showers and storms will be ongoing across the Valley this evening. The most widespread rain will be over northeastern AL, but additional scattered storms will track into the Shoals from the west. That round of stormy weather will head east with time and should be out of the Valley after midnight. The threat for severe storms is low, but a few strong storms are possible.
