SOUTHERN SUPERSTARS SHORT TRACK SERIES PR#4
HUNTSVILLE, AL-The Southern Superstars Short Track Series will try it once again this Saturday night May 14th at the Huntsville Speedway in Huntsville, AL., with the Rocket100 presented by Victory Junction Camp/Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. The track will be accepting donations for the Victory Junction Camp and also the fans will also have free Krispy Kreme Doughnuts also, and with the Super Late Models back in town for action it should be a great night of racing.
Mark Day of Clarksville, TN., will lead the series drivers into the ¼ mile track as he is back to defend is 2010 series title and has already got the season off to a great start as he took the series opener at the Sayre Speedway earlier in March, so day will be out looking for his second win in a row, but he will have some tough completion from another Tennessee driver Michael House of Murfreesboro, TN., as he finished second to Day at Sayre, but also led laps before Day took the lead at the mid way point during the race. Current series Rookie of the Year leader Chase Spradlin of Oak Grove, AL., who has been a big time volunteer in the tornado cleanup in the Pleasant Grove, AL., will also be in action, the 2010 series Rookie of the Year Chase Oliver of Crossville, AL., and Gary Nix of Adamsville, AL., will also be on hand.
