Redstone Federal Credit Union offers assistance to storm victims

Redstone Federal Credit Union would like to thank their members for their patience and understanding this past week as they have worked diligently to provide them with access to their accounts.  Due to the major restoration of power that has occurred, Redstone would like to announce that with the exception of branch offices at Building 4202 on Redstone Arsenal and Highway 53, all Redstone Federal Credit Union will be open Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

The Mobile ATM will remain in the McDonald's parking lot on Hwy 53 through 5:00 PM Wednesday as well.

In a statement officials said that Redstone Federal Credit Union understands the impact this disaster has brought upon our members by incurring many unplanned expenses. Qualifying members with RFCU personal and vehicle loans can request our Skip-A-Pay service that allows them to skip one month's loan payment and the credit union will temporarily waive the processing fee.  In addition, two new disaster loan products have been created:

Disaster Recovery Loan

•      Up to $1000

•      2.00% fixed APR

•      Up to 12-month term

•      Up to 60 days before 1st payment due

Emergency Relief Loan

•      Up to $5000

•      As low as 6.60% fixed APR

•      24-month term
