PHIL CAMPBELL, AL (WAFF) - Recovery efforts are under way in Franklin County after a tornado hit the town of Phil Campbell.
With storms moving in, the shelter in Franklin County is at the First Baptist Church in Russellville.
Officials said that 90 percent of power that can be restored has been. Water is at full capacity and sewage is operational.
Med Clinic is set up at the fire department in Phil Campbell to fill prescriptions and dispense over the counter medications.
Emergency workers in the area said they need lighter fluid and charcoal, cat food, garbage bags, mops, brooms, buckets, Gatorade and notebooks. They no longer need clothes, diapers or personal hygiene products.

FEMA is in the county. They're setting up a center to apply for aid at the Russellville Parks and Rec center. It opens Wednesday at 7am-7pm and will remain open seven days a week until needs are met.
